Basic Weather Radar & Spotter Reporting Class

Due to the amount of SKYWARN activations we’ve had lately, we thought it would be a great idea to provide a FREE online training session to help make us all better severe weather spotters.
Joe-KN4CCW, our SKYWARN Division Director of South Alabama SKYWARN, will provide a basic overview of how to properly read weather radar. Arc-W4CPD, our RRPA President, will discuss how to provide quality spotter reports.
This is not an “official” SKYWARN class. A basic understanding of severe weather and/or completion of a Basic SKYWARN Storm Spotter class is recommended but not required.
